Approximate competition times are between 12pm and 3pm with doors opening at 10:30am. A tentaive schedule will be posted by 12pn on Wednesday, March 24th.

 

You asked for it, we delivered! Cheer Alliance is hosting a low-cost, low-stress event to help get your team on the road to our 2010 National Championships!

* Foam, carpet-bonded floor - 9 full mats- for WARM UP AND COMPETITION!
* Judging panel focused on providing you feedback and suggestions on how to improve!
* Only $5 for spectators!

PLUS....compete for only $5 per athlete if registered for NATIONALS or WONDERLAND!

Specialty Divisions

Where at York?

The main performance area is located in Tait McKenzie Building at York University. 

 

Parking?

Teams and spectators will need to park in the North parking lot located right off Steeles Ave and Northwest Gate. A map of the university and its parking facilities can be found at http://www.yorku.ca/yorkweb/maps/KeeleMap-Nov09-Color_5sm.pdf. Please note that the Tait McKenzie building is building 4 on the map.

 

Directions to York University

From Highway 401

  • Take Hwy. 401 to Keele Street
  • Exit at Keele Street and go north
  • Follow Keele Street to Steeles Ave. (the campus is on your left)
  • Turn left onto Steeles Ave
  • Turn left onto campus at Northwest Gate

From Highway 407

  • Take Hwy. 407 to Keele Street
  • Exit at Keele Street and go south

·         Follow Keele Street to Steeles Ave.

·         Turn right onto Steeles Ave.

  • Turn left onto campus at Northwest Gate

From Highway 400 (southbound)

  • Take Hwy. 400 south to Hwy. 7
  • Exit onto Hwy. 7 and go east
  • Follow Hwy. 7 east to Keele Street
  • At Keele Street go south

·         Turn right onto Steeles Ave.

  • Turn left onto campus at Northwest Gate

From Highway 400 (northbound)

  • Take Hwy. 400 north to Steeles Avenue

·         Exit onto Steeles Avenue and go east

·         Turn right onto campus at Northwest Gate

 

 

Spectator Admission

            Entrance  - $5/ea       

            Children under 5 yrs – FREE!           

 

Team/Spectator Entrance

Athletes, coaches and spectators will be able to enter the building via the South entrance. Tickets can be purchased at this entrance.

Parents of young children will be permitted to accompany their children the registration waiting area. This will allow parents of the young athletes to wait with their child until the coach arrives. If team coaches choose to have their teams meet anywhere other than the registration lobby parents would need to purchase a ticket before escorting their child into the performance area to any other designated spot.

 

Food & Concessions

There will be no food or concessions available at this event. Please make sure that athletes bring any food that they will need throughout the day.
